Please, someone explain to me the origin of this image. Who made it? Why? For what purpose? This is a question that has haunted me for years. Please help me, tumblr. The image is from “Man After Man,” by Dougal Dixon, a book that traces a supposed evolution of humanity over 5 million years. It gets pretty fucked up.
